The slender renegade walked carefully through the underground tunnels of Auryn, wondering if he would come across any of the pack members. It had been quite some time since he had wandered the pack lands here.. And as he pondered that fact, the memory of his last trip seemed to take over. That was when he had met Blaidd, the beautiful scarred newcomer to Auryn. He truly hoped that she would happen upon him in these tunnels, but perhaps she had found a mate in his absence and completely forgotten about him? He prayed not.
The darkness and musty scent of the underground maze somehow put Galaxy at ease as he worried about the consequences of a cruel member of Auryn discovering him and resenting his presence. The members had to be tough, and normally somewhat cruel, afterall. A low sigh escaped the wolf's jaws as he paused near a jagged spike to lay and scratch his ears. It was actually upsetting to him that he had been gone for so long. He could have missed out on so many happenings, and even some opportunities to finally be content with the life he had been given.

Iron grey paws graced the infinite sands of Auryn. The breezes had told of anger in the air - but that in itself was not unusual here, the heat got on everyones tits and the wolves here were often so far up a stick they had a permanent bitter aura. Sudden sandstorms wiped away evidence of disappearing packmembers; a scuffle between Alphas; a lovers spat - but it was still all here, all hidden. The small granules held all the secrets of the desert, they knew all, they saw all, but never let the grey pelted canine in on their secret, nor anyone else foor that matter. Therefore, the female was oblivious to almost half the happenings of Auryn in the past months.
Blaidd Drwg knew what basic things were going on in her desert home, and had kept out of the way since Druid had not asked her to attend any of this. Of course, why should she? They hardly knew each other. Instead, Blaidd had taken to scouting the borders closest to Eira, to check there was no invading armies into their territory. This of course, was only using her initiative. The Snake had not been told a rank at all, so instead of sitting on her arse all day she took to the edges of Auryn. Several things she discovered included the scent of the Eiran Alphess and another, mingled with that of Druid's. The mountain Queen's scent was gone soon after, but the other lingered, and had stayed with the one eared Alphess. Blaidd had decided that the escort had converted packs, having not been told.
Right now the stormy grey pelt of the female was slinking back to the shades of the tunnels, her coat helping her blend more into this lighting than the harsh rays of the dunes. Her slender, strawberry inflamed ears flattened slightly to her head as the different volumes of light, sound and smell encased her sensory system. Everything was magnified tenfold, even the sand beneath had an extra layer of something to make it seem even more real. Almost instantly, a somewhat familiar scent passed through her nostrils. Male. Blaidd's muscles instantly tensed and brought her almost flat to the floor.
It took the female a few minutes to peel herself from the floor, cursing her weakness with brutes once more in her mind. It took a while to piece the scent together to form a likeness in her head, one she remembered. Lanky, red, not like a normal wolf in the slightest, though desparately canine. Cautiously, she crept forwards, ice blue eyes cutting sharply through the darkness until she found the target. Taking a swallowed breath, she put her visage on, at once becoming the bitter and guarded wolfess Auryn expected her to be, and that she became around anything sporting a penis and a pair of testicles. A low growl emiited from her gullet, as if trying to be somewhat friendly. Galaxy. Right?

(love the part about the testicles, bahaha xD)
The sound of footsteps on the tunnel floor startled the brute. His massive ears swiveled back and he quickly barred his teeth a bit, a silent warning. But a familiar scent caught him off guard and his defenses were dropped as the femme came into view. "Yes. It's nice to see you, m'lady." Galaxy moved his awkward body into a bow, to attempt to ensure the female he meant her no harm. He could tell even now that she still had a fear of males, and he desired to know why. Perhaps this would be when he could truly get to know her, but maybe she would continue to be evasive.
A large drop of icy water fell from the tunnel roof onto the back of the male's neck and a shiver rippled through the muscle beneath his fiery coat. The cold of the tunnels was a sharp contrast to Auryn's vast desert lands and the renegade lands where Galaxy normally resided. It was something that bothered the wolf, but not enough to disturb the peaceful feeling the seclusion of being underground gave him. He offered Blaidd a small smile, hoping she would not remain so tense.

Scutiny passed her lips like sour cherries. Why did this goddamn brute keep going on, and on, and on with the grating politeness? Eugh... men. Who needs 'em? If only someone thought to find a way to stabalise, or even freeze their jizz, then, then the creatures wouldn't even be needed! Irrelevent! Love did not exist, its only the instinct of recreation that the beast's foul noses even dare to sniff the haunches of females. It disgusted Blaidd through and through, the way males thought they could rule over their counterpart, over the lesser sex, the weaker sex, her. Blaidd's claws gripped the ground in thought, causing the coiling ribbon on her leg to rear up with the flow of the muscle.
Please for the love of God. Climb back out of my ass. Came the leaden reply that was weighted in an icy cage of sarcasm. The stench of the odd looking brute started to overwhelm her, being hence magnified by the claustrophobia Blaidd was now experiencing in the tunnels. They had never made her feel that way before, but then again she had never met a member of the opposite sex within them either. Her ears were forever planted at a backward angle as she stood, trying to at least look relaxed, somewhat awkwardly in a stoop, a limbo she could not quite work out...
So as her stance gained awkwardness, so did the silence that stretched out. Blaidd was not one for breaking silences... she rather preffered [or was forced] to stand down whilst others took care of important things like trivial conversation. Her eyes graced the floor in the wait for some sort of words, or some indication that Galaxy would let her pass. She not so secretly hoped for the latter, but something told the wolfess she would not get away that quickly... so she waited for him to speak again, annoyance burning like incense in her nostrils.

Sure enough, the female did not relax. He could tell every moment that her impatience and defensive manner worsened, but he couldn't understand why. He had not offended her or done her harm, he had only been careful and polite with his words hoping to lighten the situation. Apparently, though, being polite was not the key to relaxing the she-wolf at all. The male scoured his mind for a method but could find none other than one that seemed a bit forward to him. He sat back slowly on his haunches, letting his tail drape loosely over a small rock behind him.
"Blaidd, why do you hate me so much when I have done nothing against you?"
His lips were set in a straight line, his eyes completely serious. His smiles and kindness had gotten him nowhere. He'd wanted to have a nice conversation, get to know the vix, but she was obviously not about to let that happen. Perhaps she would somehow decide to trust him enough to explain her mannerisms? Probably not.

A brow rose slowly from Blaidd's forehead, her cynical expression boring through brimstone. Crackling blue eyes flickered in her utmost annoyance. As she expected, the brute was not about to give way, and at this time, she did not particularly want to go back into the scorching light. The female had previously hoped for a quiet rest, alone, completely and utterly alone. Not only was she in company, but she could not relax a muscle. Gradually, her whole body started to itch under her fur and skin and the uncomfortable feeling of being softly tickled caused her to constantly shift position on her feet, unwilling to sit down.
A low growl half heartedly emitted from her gullet, resonating with a soft, balanced air like the careful strumming of an acoustic guitar. Her ears kept up their slanted position, legs slightly splayed, as a rabbit would stand opposite a weasel. Glacial eyes narrowed with some sort of emotion to match the cold she was feeling. A smirk ranged somewhat around her muzzle, an attempt at an amused grin. I have an allergy to certain levels of testosterone. Blaidd replied statically to Galaxy's questioning. However, she noted the change in tone and expression of the male, and was somewhat, subtly pleased.
The gauge out of her leg had since healed over, which to the female was a bit of a bummer. What was left was a scarred reminder of a past she would rather forget. Unfortunately, habit and fear were not her best friends in this situation. Blaidd's teeth gritted silently against each other in the tantalising wait between sentances, letting silence engulf her. She offered him one get out of jail free card, the old, 'its not you its me' stare that she often gave. Truth was, Blaidd did not feel it was her fault. All makes carried the same perception of themself, the same old cock and ball story [see what she did there?] that set surges of adrenaline fear through her veins.

Cold chills continued to run the length of his spine as he sat relaxed in the tunnel, a great contrast to the female's tense stance. He was fully aware that she was considering methods of getting rid of him as quickly as possible. He half expected that a fight was probable, but he wondered if she might fear males too much to even try that. He took a deep breath and closed his lids over his shining green-gray eyes momentarily. What would it take to loosen this woman up to having a simple conversation?
"From what I can tell, your allergy is to all levels of testosterone," he said in a monotone voice. From the impression she was giving off, he could tell that some brute had obviously cause her some sort of suffering in the past. His mind sat on a teetor-totter, unable to decide whether to question her about his thoughts or not until he came back to his previous decision that being straightforward was the only way to communicate with her. "Not all males are like the one who hurt you, you know."
He looked Blaidd directly in the eyes, prepared for her to leave. He knew full well that his comment would piss her off, but he was not one to keep his thoughts to himself well. Galaxy shifted his weight to sit further back on the tunnel floor and waited for the furious response.

ooc//: fear not, for I am here to save the daaaaaay! ;]
Auryn is flat. Sound traveled far distances through the empty air, and so as a result Druid was witness to her packmates' conversation long before she caught sight of either of them. The exchange started off fairly uninteresting (although a couple choice comments drew a faint smirk from her), so the alphess turned her attention to more pressing matters.
There was the matter of her current scheme, the one she and Quixote had argued over...how many nights ago? She could not be bothered to remember. What she was thinking about now was the possibility of counterattack. Edyrd, she had estimated from her last visit, was about four strong. Auryn had about eight able-bodied wolves to her name. Take from that the currently estranged Karina, Quixote and Czar, and you have five to four. She could live with those odds. But of course...it would not pay to be overconfident...
Druid swished her tail thoughtfully, a scowl darkening her muzzle. Ideally, of course, Edyrd would come through on their word and bring down Kazak, and then she would be able to sever ties with them swiftly and cleanly and they could both go back to idly resenting each other. However--it would be an understatement to say there was be a part of her that was skeptical of the likelihood of that outcome.
Cynicism was a virtue.
Karina and Quixote had left, to find Czar. She did not know just yet how she felt about this.
Would they bring about a rebellion? Carry forth a would-be usurper, to challenge her? Druid entertained the notion with a sentiment that was almost an idle amusement.
At any rate, there was nothing she could do now but enforce the bunkers and wait for the next move. Druid ascended the shallow slope of the dune and stepped casually between her warring packmates.
Blaidd. Galaxy. Flirting again, I see. she observed dryly.

[yay for nile! x3] defying gravity*-
Famous for her one liners, Blaidd was finding it difficult to come up with an answer that would gratify the both of them at the same time. So instead, she picked up a small sneer. Actually. She began, a small, pompous note in her voice. Females also bear a slight level of testosterone, so it would be more accurate to say that i have an allergy to anything that features a pair of bollocks. She finished with a satisfied smile, this note on its own clearing up a little of the fear in her bones.
Blaidd carried on smiling until he spoke again, where her facial features contorted instantly into a bitter smirk that seemed to be dripping with venom. All constant efforts of trying to be at least a little social had vanished as her ears flattened intently against her skull. Oh really now, huh? Personally, I have never met one. She growled, her nails piercing into the dirt beneath her feet, causing the tendon to ripple and the snake to rear. And by any means, who says that I'm hurt? And why would you care? The words came like snake spit from her fanged muzzle, ice blue orbs piercing through the darkness like some unmistakable anger visible to the naked eye.
The iron grey female was about to add another snappy remark when she heard footsteps beyond [the tunnels making excellant for knowing where anyone is] and in turn a voice interrupted the still air. The Alphess dropped down between them, and Blaidds stature instantly relaxed. The femme always felt a tonne better when another was with her when a male was near, but instantly cursed herself for her previous words, for it was obvious that Druid had heard them.
Her hackles and tail dropped, and she inclined her head towards her Queen, murmuring a quiet M'lady, before glaring at Galaxy, then the floor. Heat instantly flushed to her cheeks, for although Blaidd knew this wasnt true, the accusation still burned at her nerves, causing her to be uncomfortable and angry at the same time.
My apologies Druid, but Galaxy is soo not my type. She replied in the most respectable voice possible, and gave a hope-to-be-lighthearted smile. Looking up as she said it, she fought the feeling to run away once more and drown herself in one of the ponds. In an attempt to draw away from the subject she spoke again, So, m'lady, whats the latest? I uhm, I havn't smelt Karina around in a while. Is she okay? Okay, she hadnt really met Karina properly before, but she knew who she was, and her scent was one of the first that she had remembered in her stay in Auryn, and as the wolf was a Beta, this brought a sort of concern for Blaidd Drwg. It was also a diversion from Galaxy, only metres in front of her, for which she was glad.

ooc//: okay, I don't know where Raii is, so I'm just gonna move the board along because it's about time folks seriously.
I suspected as much. Druid replied. If wolves had eyebrows, she would have raised hers. It did not take the world's greatest detective to pick up on Blaidd's distaste towards the male of the species; she labled it amusing, if not cause for concern.
Karina... the alphess flicked her ear, choosing carefully from her word bank. Our Beta Femme is currently AWOL, however, under the circumstances I am prepared to grant her leave. She is looking for Czar--oh, and Quixote has gone as well.
She dropped the last name causally, apathetically, as though she couldn't be bothered to remember where Quixote was, much less be persuaded to care.
Druid sensed another question on the rise, and nipped it sharply in the bud. Why, I do not know for sure. Czar was the leader of this pack before I was, and he abandoned them under no justifiable circumstance. However, while he was here he seemed to be much beloved, and Karina, no doubt, has some deluded notion of him fixing everything. I have neither the time nor the resources to go chasing after her; let her do as she pleases.

Galaxy's gaze drifted over Blaidd's many scars, mainly the long snake-like figure on her leg, and spoke quietly as he listened to the Auryn alphess's approach. "Well, dear, you cannot deny evidence that is clearly presented." He stood as he finished his statement to greet Druid as shen entered. He moved his body into a low bow before her.
"Greetings, m'lady. And believe me, Balidd has made it quite clear that I do not equate to what she desires, if that be anything at all." He gave a small smirk, then moved back to his place seated near the tunnel wall. Galaxy sat silently and listened to the conversation between the two females. None of the names they spoke of were recognizable to him - Karina, Quixote, Czar - but he was now aware of their importance to the pack. He wondered to himself if Druid feared the possibility of Czar's return at all, if she was worried that they would hold a coup to place him back in power.

Dusty and tired, Phaelyn and Susiana emerged from the twisting tunnels to find a few wolves talking, facing a single wolf. 'Hello?'she asked timidly from the entrance of the dens. The wolves turned to her direction."Erm...hello. My name is Phaelyn. I would like to join your pack."Her bitten left ear twitched; it did so whenever she was nervous. She backed away a step; the wolf looking at her seemed to deserve a certain respect. "I can prove myself, if necessary."she said, adopting a slightly defensive position. Liste's words had colored her perception of Auryn; she certainly hoped she would not have to fight, but if it came to it, she felt sure she would at the very least survive. She gave Susiana a little nudge, letting her know Phaelyn's part was spoken; Susiana could take her turn now.

Susiana shook herself as they heard voices through the tunnel. "These are quite possibly potential pack members." She said to herself. They walked into view of the others and stopped. Susiana stood aware of her surroundings and listened to Phaelyn's request to join. When Phaelyn nudged her, she took a slight step forward and introduced herself. "My name is Susiana and I too would like to join your pack. If you would like me to prove myself, then I am entirely willing and ready." Her eyes looked at the three and identified which one was most likely the Alphess and directed her gaze that way. Susiana watched for any sign of an attacking wolf and changed to a more defensive pose. If she was going to have to fight one of the wolves before her, she must be ready for a surprise attack. With every little movement of the Alphess, she studied the others and looked for a surprise attack.
~Susiana~ --------------------------------------- I wait for you to come and save me, I hope that you will come show me and tell me, That you can't take me off your mind, That you were just to scared to read the signs, That we could actually be something more than Friends in love
