personality: Refy is a typical dog: curious, social but slightly cowardish, always trying to avoid fights. He's very affectionate, almost dangerously so, always thinking the best of others, trotting up to people, dogs and wolves without worry. This, of course, usually leads into trouble. But there's really nothing else he can do, since he feels terrible and suffers greatly from being alone. He needs someone to interact with, play with, hunt with and depend on. Acceptance in a pack means the world for him.
Refy can be slightly aggressive though, while threatened by other dogs or wolves, but generally he tends to be submissive and lenient, bowing down to others. He much prefers being a follower than a leader.
One of Refy's passions is hunting. He loves the thrill of chasing a prey, and the satisying feeling of being full after a good hunt and snack is the best feeling in the world. Alone he can only catch small game as mice, rats, rabbits and the occasional bird, but when in a group he enjoys the work of hunting big prey like deers in groups, the joy of having everyone working together smoothly and the feeling of being a part f something bigger is enjoyable to him.
history: Refy was born in a kennel, his parents were well-known show dogs and there was a lot of expectacions on the new litter. He was the first puppy being born, followed by one sister and one brother. His sister was a the same color as Refy, black and white, while his brother was of a lighter grey shade.
He spent most of his younger years playing with his sister and brother, annoying his mother and human owners. He never saw his father. As he grew old enough, he was taken from his mother's and sibling's side and sold to a family. It took him a while to settle in the new environment, but once he calmed down and got used to his new family he started to have a very good time.
His new family started taking him to dog shows, and he became quite a famous young show dog, well known for being obedient and calm-natured. He also got trained to be a sled dog, and as he grew he got to know the other alaskan malamutes that his human family owned. He'd been kept separated from them at first. Through many trials and errors he earned himself a spot in the hierarchy of the dogs in the family.
Of course, nothing good lasts forever and soon there was an accidetn that totally changed Refy's life, taking away his happiness and casting him away into an unknown world of harsh survival. He was out on a normal sled ride, running along with all of the other dogs, when suddenly the ice broke beneath them and Refy got swept away, only to find himself stranded alone on a remote beach. Now he has to either survive alone in the wilderness or find a pack of wolves that actually accepts him, even though he's not exactly a wolf himself.
