personality: Shitai is very quiet, not too sociable either, but isn't afraid to communicate when necessary. He has potential to be friendly but will take quite some time to warm up to anyone. Shitai still has hope in finding a new pack and gaining new friends, but he is constantly reminded of how weak he really is in just the simple calling of his name. For the most part he has learned to depend on himself, and forget about the past. He has an undying hatred for his brother, Shigure. Shitai has been trying to get stronger but is beginning to lose hope. Though every day he continues on, searching for some new kind of inspiration. He finds himself getting by on the little things in life that most others would simply take for granted. Shitai tries to find beauty in everything and isn't so quick to let anyone forget their true value to him. He doesn't trust anyone who doesn't deserve it, and even though he's been betrayed before he finds a way to forget about it and give everyone a chance. Shitai hasn't even really taken romance into consideration with anyone (especially since he never really had the time) but it's definitely not in his top priorities for now.
history: In his birth pack Shitai, formally known as Shouji, was the successor to the alpha. Although his younger brother, Shigure, would never accept that. Shouji was always kind and friendly as opposed to the cocky and selfish Shigure. They're father had finally passed on of old age, meaning the time had come to fight for the title of alpha. Shigure and Shouji engaged in an intense battle, but due to the fact that Shigure used the element of surprise he remained victorious. Shouji was then nicknamed Shitai, meaning the corpse due to his pitiful state. He decided to acknowledge himself as Shitai along with his pack to remember his pathetic past, and how much stronger he needed to become. From there on, Shitai moved on, into different territories. He eased his way into a small pack a few months later, and Shitai was able to be a carefree alpha for a few weeks. Then unexpectedly, his brother Shigure returned to him, begging for forgiveness and a new place to call home. Being the kind wolf he is, Shitai gave him food and heard him out. Shitai's previous pack was having awful luck with food and was forced to enter another pack's territory for any hope of survival. Unfortunately for them the pack was much larger and very intolerable of strangers and slaughtered them all but Shigure who ran for his life. Disgusted with his brother, Shitai forced him to leave his territory instantly. Shigure did so reluctantly but returned weeks later much stronger and healthier than his previous state, and brought a new pack of his own. For the second time the two fought. However this fight was even more unfair than the last. Shigure and two other powerful wolves mauled Shitai and left him bleeding in the cold, unforgiving snow. He still found strength to get up and eventually he recovered. He didn't care to find out what happened to his pack, but continued on to try for a better future.
