personality: A lot of Saulth's true personality is held just below the surface. He is a mysterious wolf who keeps most of his thoughts to himself. At a first glance you might think that he is a quiet and calm wolf, preferring to keep away from trouble. But Saulth is the very opposite of shy. He will never back down from a challenge or fight and if something is going on he'll always be there to check it out. Saulth doesn't spend much of his time speaking if there is no need for words. It may give them impression that's he's not listening or that he doesn't quite understand what's going on but again, appearances can be deceiving. He takes in ever word and is very observant and intelligent. He'll almost always have some sort of answer or comeback to anything said but whether the words will actually come out of his mouth or not is another matter.
When this silent giant finally opens his mouth however, his comments are snide and harsh. He's brutally honest and come off as quite aggressive with his words. On the odd occasion he'll put on a more sly persona to get what he wants but really his preferred method of getting others to do what he says is brute force. He is skilled when it comes to fighting and become very territorial and violent. He is better to have as a friend than an enemy but there are very few that Saulth would even consider close to friends. Really, he works for himself and it is difficult to gain his trust.
history: Saulth's mother, Marigold, was stunningly beautiful, rich gold in colour. She wandered alone, a thief to a large pack that lived in a forest nearby. It was difficult for her to manage for herself but she got by. She made a fair amount of enemies from that pack but her speed and cunning kept her out of serious trouble.
However, one day she was caught by a dark male pack member who told her that he wouldn't give her to the rest of the pack for punishment if she gave him something in return. It was at that point that he raped her and left her out in the cold of the winter to fend for herself. She knew that she couldn't go back near the pack and ordeal had had a major effect on the young female. She became paranoid and anxious. She met with a caring young mother named Maja from another pack who looked after her and made sure that she had enough strength to give birth to her puppies. Due to the stress that the mother was under, only two of the puppies survived but it didn't last long. Marigold snapped under the strain of everything, killing Saulth's brother, Shaan, in an insane breakdown before Maja saved the other puppy. Marigold died that night which left Saulth in the care of Maja.
As she was also a mother she was able to provide the puppy with milk and the comfort of siblings. But Saulth always stood out; he was a loner to the other wolves who had accepted him into their pack. He grew more distant as he got older until eventually he broke off completely from the pack to find his own way.
