personality: Loyal and devoted would be the first thing to come to mind when speaking of Koleira. She isn't a passive follower, but an active one, always ready to follow orders and make sure everything is working as it should. She doesn't do well on her own, becoming edgy and second-guessing herself - she needs a strong leader to follow to establish certainty in her life. Knowing her place in the pack is a must - once she has that, she can calm down and settle in. She doesn't have the confidence or natural leadership neccessary to ever lead, and she knows it, though she is good at guiding those younger or less experienced than her.

She isn't very open, masking her emotions behind unshakeable calm. It is assured that if she is showing her feelings clearly, then they're very strong indeed. She is always polite to others, with great respect to those above her and fondness for equals and those below. She is devoted to her duty, and if she owes anyone a favour, no matter who or what they are, she will do everything she can to pay it back in full. She is rather passive in relationships, not initiating conversation, or really caring about meeting others; she prefers to be approached rather than actively seek out others to talk to.
history: Koleira wasn't born to Glyn, like many of the other packmembers. Rather, much of her early life was spent with a small pack, barely fit to be called one. Rather, a loose group, with her father and mother deciding where to go, and being obeyed by a motley collection of siblings and some friends. She was the most submissive of the litter, despite being larger than her more aggressive brothers and sisters. She grew up as most did, being taught how to hunt, what to avoid doing... but the latter lesson noticably skipped on dealings with humans. When her family stumbled upon a small farm, they pillaged, eating their fill of the defenseless animals they found there. Retribution came, however, in the form of poisons, traps and guns.

Her brother, rash and reckless, was the first to succumb, killed by a bullet. Koleira came too close to death herself, and, frightened, fled, abandoning her family. For what seemed an eternity to her mind - she was a yearling, vulnerable, alone and new to the dangers of the wilderness to a loner - she wandered, losing most of her strength due to her inability to hunt well on her own. Eventually, she learned how to survive, but by the time she found another pack, in a place of plenty, she was weary, and joined the Glyn pack with a newfound resolve to never betray her new pack, or show cowardice at all. Slowly, as time passed, she regained her strength, growing into the staying power her build had promised. She met the news of humans threatening the territory with dismay, and then found anger beneath it - she would not run from them again.
