Alvarado Plains is a fictional location set in Nevada, some three/four hundred miles from any human civilization. The year timeline is circa somewhere in the 1950s. The Korean War and the Cold war are keeping a politically conservative climate. Dwight D. Eisenhower had just recently taken presidency in the United States, and in Nevada, wild horse roundups had reached an all time high. The United States' Bureau of Land Management stepped in to intervene, and bordered off a 400 mile stretch of Arizona and Nevada, creating a refuge for the wild horses to roam without fear of human intervention. The environment ranges from vastly different ecosystems such as plains, cliffs, forests and deserts. The horses have ample amount of space to thrive and progress - but how long will it be before man defies man, and destroys this harmony?
