personality: Amaiya was the calm pup; being the one lest likely to fight or wrestle with her siblings. She was a wanderer though, at heart she was destined to be one. Growing up with her small pack/family she would only watch her siblings socialize with each other, and she would learn their behaviors by not socializing but by observing. She hardly joined in on family hunts, but would let her mind run freely, and she would turn her back on a hunt in order to spend her time exploring areas she was not used to. From her behavior, she was often the last to eat or even not allowed to eat at all, since she didn't help in catching the food. This worried her parents; they didn't want their daughter to end up as an omega.
Amaiya was also very flexible in the sense where she could actually climb trees. Not straight up climb up a tree, like a cat, but she is able to pull herself up the branches, and refrain from falling by using her unnatural balance and small size. Depending on how thick the branches are, she is even able to jump from limb to limb. She loved heights, and figured if she were able to, she would travel around from tree to tree. Some days she wondered if she were ever meant to be a wolf, but passed it off as thinking too much about nothing. To sum it up, Amaiya is a calm, laid back wolf who has an adventurous heart and loves to explore.
history: Amaiya's mother Rayne, and father, Loki, were born to the Edryd pack. The two grew up together, their mothers giving birth around the same month. Being born into a ruthless pack had it's disadvantages for the two, who thought more calmly than the other wolves in their litter's. Loki never felt as he was meant to live there, for the violence and anger of the wolves around him never appealed to him. Rayne, was also set apart from the violence. Preferring a life filled with calm and subtlety. When the two separate litters grew into adults, Rayne and Loki ran from their families, their hearts set on raising a new, more peaceful pack outside the Eiru territories, where they knew they could live in peace.
After months of living alone together, the two wolves settled in unclaimed territory near a big river where salmon thrived. Rayne soon found herself pregnant, and after three weeks past she gave birth to five healthy puppies. Out of the liter, Amaiya was the smallest, the runt. Her mother feared she wouldn't live through her first few weeks of life, but pulled through with little difficulty. As the pups grew, Amaiya learned her place amongst the wolves. From an outside point of view, it would seem that she would grow into the omega wolf.
As pups grew into wolves, the wolf pack became known by the humans of a nearby village. They have been spotted on hunts, and were ruled as a threat to the village, even though the small family of wolves had no intention in doing so. On a night where the pack was out on a hunt, Amaiya had once again wandered off alone, letting her family hunt the caribou without her. As she climbed thick trees, humans interfered with the hunt, shooting down the wolves and leaving the Amaiya packless. Upon her arrival to her bloodied companions, the young wolf mourned the loss; filling the night sky with sorrowful howls. Now Amaiya roams the lands with a hollowed hole in her chest and an empty belly, searching for a new home; a new pack that will take her in.
