Edyrd Packlands
-If you can’t stand the heat, get out-
So, you came here to figure more about this little slice of land some wolves call home. Well, if you really need to live here, there are a few rules you’ll need to live by. You follow those rules and, (perhaps), we’ll get along just fine. First rule of all and the most important is this pack is, ‘survival of the fittest’. If you expect anyone who lives in these woods to play fair, you’re utterly mistaken. Keep your food hidden, lest some hungrier, stronger stranger happens to want a free meal from your stash. If you can’t defend your dinner, you go hungry for the night. Don’t expect an alpha to do anything about it either.
For entertainment these wolves will hold contests of strength. It is either Edyrd against Edyrd, prisoner against Edryd, or prisoner against prisoner. All of these battle show all wolves’ skill and strength and battle.
Edyrd against Edryd- is usually used for an Alpha’s entertainment, for practice to fight another pack, or to settle a despute.
Prisoner against Edryd- when it becomes time when an Alpha thinks a prisoner is to be killed; they let their captive choose any of the Edryd wolves to face. Usually the Edryd will always turn out the victor. If the prisoner wins they get to go free if they can find their way out of the land before they die of starvation.
Prisoner against Prisoner- this is the packs way of pure torture for the prisoners. They will put two prisoners and snap and bite at them to fight. These captives will almost always be family members, friends, or even a mother against her own pups. The winner will go free, physically unharmed, but will have to live with the pain of murdering their own kin.
Food here is scarce, so only the toughest will live after the first few weeks. Sometimes, if need be, the pack forms small hunting parties so they can catch bigger game. If this happens, the packs search around for anything that comes into boundry and isn’t a pack member and try to take it down. If they succeed they must howl to inform the alphas of the food. The alphas will always eat first if large game is caught, and they will eat to their fill. Anyone found stealing will be considered ‘weak’ and killed if ever found again.
