Rank Information and Descriptions [/u] This provides a short description of the duties for each rank. (xnumber) is the maximum amount of wolves that can hold that position.

[/sup] The Court
Alpha: (x1) highest rank in the pack. He has the final say in all pack situations. Alphess: (x1) the alpha's counterpart, she bows only to him. --->Infante/Infanta: (x1) translating literally to "prince/princess", this pup is the chosen heir to the throne. Often, but not always, the eldest of the alpha's pups. --> Alpha Whelps: (x3-5) the alpha's other offspring, listed in the order they will succeed the throne of Auryn.
Beta Mascu: (x1) the beta is a jack-of-all-trades, and helps to keep order in the pack. He is dominated only by the alphas. After the royal offspring, he is second in line for the throne. Beta Femme: (x1) the female counterpart of the beta mascu. She is not necessarily his mate, but is often related to him. ---> Beta Whelp: (x2) one male and one female, these are the beta's chosen heirs in the event of their death, or their promotion to alpha. Not necessarily the offspring of the betas.
The Militia
Delta Arkeein: (x1) the lead warrior. S/he is one of the strongest and most powerful wolves in the pack. They command the warriors, and are responsible for them. Warriors: (x5) fighting wolves, whom have proven themselves in battle. Under the command of the Delta Arkeein, they are expected to defend and protect the pack. ---> Arkeein Whelps: (x4) pups in training to become warriors.
Delta Analeglin: (x1) the lead hunter. S/he leads the hunts and is responsible for the hunters s/he commands. Hunters: (x5) hunting wolves, skilled in stalking and bringing down large prey. They are responsible for feeding the pack, and are sometimes called on in battle to fight alongside the warriors. ---> Analeglin Whelps: (x4) pups in training to become hunters.
Delta Heuriskein: (x1) the head scout. S/he controls the flow of information through Auryn, and oversees the guards as well as the scouts. Scouts: (x3) the pack’s eyes and ears. Their job is to gather and report information and happenings in the other packs. In the event that Auryn holds a truce with a neighboring pack, one of these wolves will be chosen to be the ambassador to them. ---> Heuriskein Whelps: (x2) pups in training to become scouts.
Guards: (x3) once a pup has undergone scout training, they can also chose to become a guard. The main job of the guards is patrol the Auryn borders, although they may be called on for other duties, including serving as warriors in battle.
The Civilians
Pack Members: (xunlimited) Unranked adults, listed in the order of their status in the pack. If the position is not already filled, the last wolf on this list becomes the subordiante. --->Whelps: (xunlimited) Pups currently not in training.
Subordinate: (x1) This is the lowest rank a wolf can hold in the pack. A subordinate holds authority over no one, not even pups.
Invalids: (xunlimited) Wolves who are unable to fend for themselves, for whatever reason. This includes elders, cripples, and pregnant she-wolves. They are cared for and fed by the pack.

Current Relations With Neighboring Forces [/u] “plays well with others” [/center] Surrounding Packs;
EIRA: icy. Erian wolves are to be deterred unless they have a very good reason. Trespassing Erian wolves should be brought to the alphess.
EDYRD: neutral/frosty. We currently have an agreement with this pack so Edyrd wolves are to be treated as neutral. However, they are not to be trusted. We have a long and bitter history with them.
GLYN: neutral. Glyn wolves caught trespassing will be sent back with a warning.
INNIS: neutral. Innis wolves caught trespassing will be sent back with a warning.
RENEGADES: variable. Rouge wolves are currently permitted to walk on our lands, however, they are not allowed to hunt here.
HUMANS; hostile. Any humans caught trespassing on Auryn lands should be dealt with immediately and/or brought to the attention of the alphess. Trespassing dogs will be killed on sight or captured.
Allies; these wolves are allowed to tread freely on Auryn lands
[none]
Hit List; these individual wolves are enemies of the Pack
Aodh [Edryd] [Crime: Stealing Food, Trespassing, Attempt at Auryn murder] [currently off the hit list under terms of the truce] Kazak [no pack] [Crime: treason, plotting with Edyrds, threat of Auryn murder][banished; KILL ON SIGHT]
Prisoners of War;
