2070. We haven't evolved much, and our violence streak is worse than ever. We are now involved in several wars, and the fear of en epidemic is high.[/size][/color]
Scientists, primarily the Riffman Society, began working on a theory that the youth of the world carried a gene. A gene that could withstand the test of time, and if an epidemic decided to rear it's ugly face, that as well. They thought they had about a year to be prepared before the Outbreak would hit. Unfortunately, the epidemic didn't wait a year.
It hit like an atom bomb, and everyone over the age of 19 died within a month. Their bodies lay strewn across the country, but decayed within two weeks. The gene left the air, and eveything was good, right? Yes, aside from the fact that there was no longer any adults, animals had begun to mutate, and even the kids themselves begin to mutate. They develop unspeakable powers.
They begin to divide into groups. The strong and the weak; the rich and the poor and a fight is predicted to beging. How will they cope? Will they be able to survive? Who knows...
