Aijan ( Eye – jhan )
[/center]the character
name: Aijan
age: Three years
gender: Male
pack: Eira
rank: - -
appearance: A white, mottled coat full of gray and black swims down Aijan's slick body much like an unkept dalamation's covering. The darker shades of fur that mark the wolf are irregular patches that resemble haphazard spots, each a sprawl of ebony that can be seen from the curves of his cheeks to the tip of his tail. The only part of him that his spared from this invading color is his right hind leg; from the base of his tail, a white stripe runs along his side and fully encompasses the limb, causing his leg to appear to be lacking. Creamy blue eyes - much as if milk had been leaked into the pupils - peer out of a soft and friendly face. With a rather angular nose, Aijan oftentimes looks stricter or more uptight than he really is. Large, speckled feet - save for his back, right paw - support differently hued claws, and the broad chest that caps his slim body matches him perfectly.breed: Gray Wolf
height: Nearly three feet at the shoulder
weight: About 120 lbs
other: Aijan has neither extraordinary hearing nor a exaggeratedly acute sense of smell, but his senses are efficiently sharp. Although not huge by any means, he bears a fit, muscular body and can take care of himself rather well. As long as he doesn't trip over his own feet, of course.
personality: Hahaha...! No, really! The fish was that big!
A nice stance of heart can be found in Aijan. He's ever friendly and rarely critical of anyone, inclined to exaggerate only an amusing roll of the eyes instead of a snap if there is ever any dissent between him and another wolf. A lover of laughter and good times, Aijan will go out of his way to brighten the day's mood with a funny line or an enthusiastic comment. Due to the obvious largeness of his paws, it's not rare to see the young male stumble and fall flat on his face, which never fails to spark a self-abusive chuckle of his part. His bark, light and pitchy, can often be heard in good humor among a group.
Of course, there's a serious side to every character. Although he consistently prefers staying out sticky situations, Aijan isn't shy to stand up for himself if the need arises. Clumsy when he's relaxed and with a friend, he's an entirely different wolf under pressured circumstances. With his slim, quick body, he can use his form to keep away from an opponent and bide time to come up with an intelligent striking zone. His wit is usually reserved for a good laugh, but the fact that he is intelligent is hard to miss when one pays attention. Rank doesn't matter much to Aijan, though he never skirts from responsibility or leadership if it's presented to him. All in all, he's a good companion to have around.
history: Having grown up in wintry lands, Aijan spent most of his younger years – when he finally made it outside of the den, of course – roughing around in the snow with his only sibling. Although used to the climate and the challenges such weather provided, his first couple years in his family pack were full good times. Rumors of ‘human activity’ reached his ears, but the pack never had any direct problems with people, and so he didn’t think of them often. Just after his second year, though, things took a turn for the worst; the herd animals that were the primary feeding source for his family didn’t show up, and the following winter was crueler than it had ever been. Several of the older pack members were the first to suffer the extremities of hunger and freezing temperatures. Soon after, a fight broke out between the younger wolves, both sides arguing whether it would be best to find a new territory to roam and, if it came to that, where they would end up. Daily bickering and a lack of food caused dissent to set heavily in. After a small search party was sent out to find the source of the problem, it was discovered that a settlement had been established some miles away, and that the humans had either fenced in or scared away what they hadn’t eaten of the herds. After that, the pack only grew more anxious. Fear and illness inspired some of the healthier wolves to abandon the pack in search of another. While Aijan stuck it out as long as he could – choosing to remain in the only place he had known as home – his brother and father eventually went missing after a desperate hunting trip, and his mother gave in to the sickness that had poured over her thinning body for months. With a sad but determined goal, Aijan set out to find a new home.
